These tools give general estimates, not medical advice. If food, weight or exercise is causing you distress, a doctor or an organization such as NEDIC (Canada) or the National Alliance for Eating Disorders (US) can help.

How this works

Your starting point sets a suggested prep length of 12 to 28 weeks, and we count back from show day. We add common milestones for posing, suit and tan bookings, registration and peak week, plus the day your post-show plan begins.

Common questions

How long should contest prep be?

Many competitors need 16 to 24 weeks, and sometimes longer. Starting earlier usually allows a slower rate of loss and a better chance of arriving on time.

When should I start posing?

Earlier than most people expect. Regular practice from at least 12 to 16 weeks out builds the conditioning and confidence you need on stage.
