Accessibility
Last updated October 28, 2026
Adapted Physiques is committed to providing a website and coaching services that everyone can use, including people with disabilities, in line with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) and its Integrated Accessibility Standards.
Our standard
We design and test adaptedphysiques.com to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA, and we aim for WCAG 2.1 AA wherever we can.
What we've done
- Semantic page structure with headings, landmarks and a "skip to content" link.
- Every page and form works with a keyboard, with visible focus outlines.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images.
- Strong colour contrast on our dark theme and text that can be resized.
- Animations respect your device's "reduce motion" setting.
- Form fields have labels, required fields are marked and errors are announced.
- Pages are checked at phone, tablet and desktop sizes so nothing is cut off.
Known limitations
- Some before-and-after images include text inside the image; we describe them in the alt text.
- Checkout on YourSupplier.ca (Shopify), the Adapt Now app and app store pages are provided by third parties. We choose accessible providers but can't control their content.
Alternate formats and help
If you have trouble using any part of the site, or need information in another format such as plain text, large print or a call instead of a form, contact us and we'll help. We'll provide accessible formats and communication supports in a timely way at no extra cost.
Feedback
We welcome feedback on accessibility. Email info@adaptedphysiques.com and tell us the page and the problem. We'll acknowledge your message within five business days and let you know how we'll fix it.
